Several members of the GECA’s team visited the Soleco Energy Inc. plant at Thetford Mines in September 2023. Soleco Energy Inc. aims to transform low-value plastic wastes into green fuel to replace products made from virgin fossil fuel. The company is developing a pyrolysis process for such plastic wastes. We discovered the installation, and spoke with the lead engineer, who described the process and was very patient with all our questions !
