Sofie Dejaegher (MSc in sustainable development, BSc in bioengineering), our new agriculture and environment project analyst has several years of experience in agri-food and biochar project development. She is also the winner of the 2021 Prize Carbon Removal prize for an African biochar project. Sofie brings her knowledge in project management, strategies for using biochar in agriculture and environment, and in biochar carbon credit.
Welcome also to Perrine Legoube (MSc in environmental management and BSc in environmental finance), our new carbon quality manager. After being senior analyst and climate change mitigation strategist, Perrine joined GECA to improve the carbon credit certification processes, strengthen the analysis of the co-benefits of biochar and ensure the integration of good normative practices in these processes.
These new members will increase our efficiency in supporting you in your pyrolysis, biochar, and carbon credits projects.
