During the Climate Week, the GECA team was in Newark to attend the Zero Waste East Conference, where policy and decision makers were gathered to discuss issues about waste and renewable energy.

We were present during both days and met many like-minded people who were striving for sustainability in large corporations and cities. We introduced pyrolysis as a solution for end-of-life residues and to re-introduce waste into the circular economy. Overall, it was a great conference during which we learned a lot and in return also educated key players in the industry about the options they have for waste management.
