The problematic

The international company starts producing biocoke from biomass wastes to replace fossil coke. This biocoke production generates large tonnage of liquid byproducts, now burnt using fossil energy. The company seeks better environmental solutions for these liquids.

The solution

GECA completed analyses of the products and a market study for the specificity of the products. GECA suggested markets to start with, which were selected by the company. GECA is now developing the methodology for the pre and post-treatments of these liquids to reach the markets on the local circular economy. &amp;amp;nbsp;

The impact

The client will be putting on the market several hundred of thousand tons of two green liquids, reducing as much the use of fossil-based liquids (chemicals). &amp;amp;nbsp;
