A manufacturer of combustion equipment was considering becoming a biochar producer from wastes they are used to manufacture equipment for. They were putting time and effort without always a doubt in their mind.
The solution
The company asked GECA to find technology, complete a market study, and evaluate the overall project. GECA suggested not to produce biochar, but rather position the company as a manufacturer of piece of equipment for manufacturers of pyrolysis, torrefaction, and gasification technologies to fully embrace its capability and knowledge on thermal equipment making.
The impact
The client is now making business in the pyrolysis industry by becoming a manufacturer of piece of equipment for technology developers.
