In December 2025, GECA Environnement conducted a field mission in Benin, concluding a one-year collaboration with FPGL, RAIL, CREDEL, and APRETECTRA.
Local welders fully built the pyrolysis units, demonstrating the feasibility of locally anchored production. The training focused on equipment operation and biochar use, generating strong interest, particularly among women farmers and trainers.
This initiative strengthens local autonomy while valorizing agricultural residues and supporting sustainable practices.
